1) Discussions have now begun with ASME regarding technical
co-sponsorship of Haptics-e.

2) A draft CALL FOR PAPERS is now online:

Please send me your comments - This will be the first "public" face of
Haptics-e, so lets make it right the first time.

3) Mark Cutkosky has graciously agreed to make some time for a
Haptics-e discussion at next week's ONR haptics workshop in Asilomar.
If you are going to the workshop, please take time to print out or
download the draft Haptics-e working papers and read them on the
plane!  If you are not coming, please email your comments to me,
Vincent Hayward, and Susan Lederman this week.  We want to work 
out as many details as possible and release the call for papers soon
after.
